From fruit trees to healing herbs, a sculpture trail and a small chapel, you will find it all here.

Floriade Expo 2022 is officially closed

Floriade Expo 2022 was open from 14 April to 9 October. The Expo has since closed; the Floriade site is now being further developed into the new green city district Hortus.

Tiny Church

In the Tiny Church and the garden, you can see and experience everything about spirituality and sustainability. In addition, there are workshops, lectures and meetings on sustainability and spirituality. You can also light a candle here for a moment of reflection. The Tiny Church turns with the sun to capture the maximum amount of energy. Sustainable, and also symbolic for the energy you receive when you focus on God. In the garden surrounding the Tiny Church, you will find three routes.


Sculpture route

Explore the sculpture trail with artworks that tell you more about the 12 spiritual fruits that make cities livable, such as compassion, hope and joy.

Spiritual route

What connects you to the earth and how does it give meaning to your life? The 12 fruits of the spirit offer food for thought.

Sustainability route

The garden invites you to reflect on how to care for the earth. Follow the sustainability route in the garden, maybe you will come to new insights?
