Floriade Dialogue #6
Local energy efficiency
In light of the pandemic Covid-19 outbreak we changed from face to face Floriade Dialogue meetings to a monthly series of webinars until July 2020. The theme of this Floriade Dialogue is ‘Access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all (SDG 7)’.
Even though there is currently a strong focus on health and food, there are associated and necessary energy supplies needed for achieving those, this offers opportunities. Our 6th Floriade Dialogue will therefore discuss the opportunities that exist between the food & flower production sector and energy supply to green cities.
In this webinar we explored the opportunities for harvesting significant energy efficiency, growth and economies of scale. This dialogue focuses on the benefits of the food, energy and water nexus on different levels, we aim to learn from best practices about techniques, governance and finance.
